What are Lash Extensions?
Lash extensions are single strands of synthetic eyelashes used to enhance the length, curliness, fullness, and thickness of the natural lash. They are applied to each individual natural lash one by one with surgical grade adhesive. Here at Dream Lashes, we use premium faux mink lash extensions.
How long will they last?
Lash extensions should last up to 4 weeks with proper after care. We recommend a fill every 2-3 weeks to maintain fullness. Your natural lashes shed every 40-65 days which plays a big factor in how long the lash extensions will last. Results vary client to client.
Can I swim, shower, or visit a spa while wearing lash extensions?
Of course! The adhesive is waterproof. We do recommend you wait 24-48 hours before you wet or cleanse your lash extensions. Prolonged exposure to heat can lessen the life of your extensions.
What to do before my appointment?
We recommend you cleanse the eye area with an OIL FREE cleanser. Do not apply eye cream before your service.
How do I take care of my lash extensions?
We recommend to purchase a lash cleanser and cleanse 3-4 times per week. If you wear eyeliner or eyeshadow, you should use your lash cleanser daily. You will receive a lash brush at the end of each service to brush the lash extensions daily. Do not brush while wet. Always use an oil free makeup remover. We recommend the Makeup Eraser to remove your makeup.
